Grieving is a personal journey and there is no one right way to grieve.

During a period of powerful grieving I made what seemed a strange commitment to myself: to get curious about what it was to grieve. That curiousity led me to co present a paper on ‘What if Grief was Play’ at the inaugural European Grief Conference in 2022.

Everytime someone in my life is touched by grief I fing myself wondering how I can share the tools that supported me to grieve. How can I share the books, literature, poems, music, art, activities and exercises in a format that makes it possible for others to dip into and choose their own path through, with the understanding that grief is a unique experience.

This is the foundation for this ‘course’. I write the word ‘course’ in quotes to explain that I am not an academic or qualified in this area and I don’t know the word to use that explains this is a course made from lived experience.
